A day at Center Creek Orchard

If your kids were to dream up the most magical orchard that they can imagine, this would be it! Center Creek Orchard has everything an orchard needs and more! From photo opportunities, to yard games to hay rides, mazes and apples, they really have it all and most of the attractions are included in the admission price! This is a must-visit for family fun during the fall in Fairmont, MN!

We woke up early, eager to start our adventure at Center Creek Orchard. As we pulled into the parking lot, we were greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods and the cheerful sounds of laughter. The orchard was bustling with families, and we couldn’t wait to join in the fun. Our first stop was the Apple House, a charming building filled with the sweet scent of apples. We wandered through, admiring the colorful displays of apples, cider, and other orchard treats.

Pro Tip! Stop back at the apple house before leaving the orchard so you can stock up on all things apple.

Outside, we found lots of great photo opportunities including the Fairmont 5 Lakes sign and a giant chair! After taking some fun photos, we headed over to the yard games area. We had an absolute blast playing barnyard football, barnyard baseball, basketball and more! Our kids absolutely loved the giant jumping pad too!

Pro Tip! If you’re sensitive to sun, don’t worry, this orchard has a good amount of shade options available!

Our final stop was the pumpkin patch, where friendly orchard employees offered hay rides and barrel tractor rides. We went on the hayride first and then the kids had a blast on the barrel tractor ride. Both are great ways to see the beautiful and spooky scenery! The maze and pumpkin patch were also fun!
