Grab your friends or significant other, and check out what downtown Fairmont has to offer! Start your evening getting lunch and margaritas at El Agave. Then walk across the street to catch a play or musical at the Fairmont Opera House!
Are you a fan of Mexican food? I know I am. What really caught my eye at El Agave were the huge margaritas! – They have great lunch specials, you get chips and salsa for free and the margaritas are $2.99 on Mondays & Wednesdays! We ended up both getting lunch #9!
Pro Tip! You can ask for two flavors mixed into your margarita!
We had fun watching a play, which was called Calvin Berger at the Fairmont Opera House. They have balcony and floor seating, we moved during the middle to experience both! I enjoyed the view best from the balcony. The opera house has much of it’s original work inside, with some updates of painting! They also have a bar on site such as, beer, wine, and full bar of liquor. We drank the special of the night, which was blue margarita! Bonus, they even have snacks if you want a little snack during the show!
Pro Tip! Sit in the Paul McCartney seat, he sat here & said it’s the best for acoustics in the opera house!
Let the hospitality in Fairmont welcome you! Just off Interstate-90, you’ll find a wide selection of hotels and restaurants. Perhaps a more rustic stay at a cabin or camping near the lake is more your style – we’ve got you covered.
