The roots of disc golf in Fairmont run deep, with the installation of the first course dating back to 1996. Since then, its popularity has soared, culminating in the addition of the WEST course in 2006. This makes Cedar Creek Park the sole location in Minnesota with multiple courses in one complex. Fast forward to the summer of 2018, and the completion of the CENTRAL course brought the total hole count to an impressive 54. With this addition, Cedar Creek Park is one of the largest disc golf complexes in the United States and the best courses in Minnesota.
