Downtown Fairmont Street Piano
Downtown Fairmont Street Piano is located by Giddy Up Boutique. This attraction welcomes downtown visitors and our citizens to tickle the ivories on Fairmont’s first STREET PIANO.
Dennise Rouse, the owner of Giddy Up Boutique and the creator of the street piano, was inspired by a quote from Johann Sebastian Bach “There’s nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself”. Her choice to embellish the piano with artwork inspired by Van Gogh has given the piano a unique look! You are invited downtown to stop and play a tune! This project was sponsored by Imagine Martin.
