Fairmont Bike Share Program

Explore Fairmont on two wheels—for free!
Thanks to Project 1590’s Kids Just Want to Have Fun group, a new Bike Share Program is now available for adults 18+ in Fairmont. Whether you’re a visitor or a local without a bike, this program offers an easy, convenient way to enjoy our scenic trail system.

Bikes are available at the docking station by the Fairmont Aquatic Park. These 7-speed pedal bikes are free to use—you’ll just need to download an app and return the bike when you’re done!

Supported by SHIP (Statewide Health Improvement Partnership) and maintained by Landsteiner Repair, this program is part of a growing list of fun, family-focused initiatives from Project 1590.

✅ How to Rent a Bike

1. Download the On Bike Share app
   📲 iOS App Store
   📲 Google Play Store

2. Create an account and add a credit card
   (The program is free—your card is only used in case of loss or damage.)

3. Unlock a bike at the docking station
   Located next to the Fairmont Aquatic Park.

4. Enjoy your ride!
   Cruise Fairmont’s beautiful trails and neighborhoods.

5. Return the bike to the same docking station
   Be sure to lock it back in place to end your ride.

Please Note:

• Bikes are for ages 18 and up

• Helmets are encouraged but not provided

• Bikes must be returned to the original docking station
