Convention Kickoff
The convention kicked off with a delightful group dinner the night before, setting the tone for an exciting two days of pig-related fun. Dinner was at Tami’s On the Ave, which has been a Fairmont favorite for more than two decades. Many members got to see their first pig statue which was outside of Tami’s.

Bacon for Breakfast
The next day, they had a delicious breakfast at The Ranch Family Restaurant, where choosing bacon from the menu was a must, of course!

Going Hog Wild
After breakfast, club members hopped on a hayride to kick off the Going Hog Wild tour, led by Jeff Rouse. Each statue is individually painted by local artists to represent a Martin County business, celebrating the region’s rich agricultural heritage.

Tour of Fairmont
Part of the tour included a stop at Heritage Acres, an agricultural center designed to tell the on-going story of farming through preserved buildings and a lot of artifacts. After Heritage Acres the pig statue tour continued until they reached their lunch destination, the Red Rock Center for the Arts. After lunch, the tour continued on foot around downtown Fairmont.

Convention Day
The convention started the next day with a Buy-Sell-Trade event, where members swapped pig-themed items to refresh their collections.
