In 2018, Visit Fairmont (in cooperation with our funding partners) initiated a survey of visitors to the Fairmont area, conducted by the University of Minnesota Extension Tourism Center. The survey consisted of a customized questionnaire administered in person on-site by trained staff from June 1 to November 30, 2018.
The purpose of this initiative was to provide a better understanding of the more than 75,000 people who stay in our hotels each year. This information will allow us to better shape our marketing initiatives and guide us in setting and achieving our organizations long-term goals.
