Then, try your hand at mini-golf, exploring 18 creative holes sponsored by local businesses. This guide is full of tips to make the most of your family fun in Fairmont!

Fairmont has one of the cutest mini-golf courses. Local businesses around town donated a “hole” to promote local businesses. There are 18 holes in total. You can “check out” clubs and golf balls at local businesses: Martin County Library, Graffiti Corner, Fairmont Aquatic Park, Fairmont CER, Best Western, and Sommer Outdoors. This is such a neat way to combine a fun activity and businesses can give back to the community.
Pro Tip: Take time to look at each of the well put together holes

Complete your family adventure day with a trip to the local aquatic park. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the Aquatic Park for a small town. There was so much to do here, you could easily spend an entire day and never get bored. From the awesome waterslides, ropes course, climbing wall, diving boards and zero entry area for the littles, this place has it all!

Hello! I am Heidi and I absolutely LOVE planning outings around the Twin Cities and Suburbs. We live in the East Metro and are out exploring as much as possible, between multiple sports and activities schedules. Not everyone has time to travel on weekends or the means to vacation so my goal is to help families like ours create some fun local adventures!
Let the hospitality in Fairmont welcome you! Just off Interstate-90, you’ll find a wide selection of hotels and restaurants. Perhaps a more rustic stay at a cabin or camping near the lake is more your style – we’ve got you covered.
